25fall入學申請的MAT考試安排細節(jié)暫未公布，官方計劃將在春季新招生周期開始時公布。MAT考試一般在每年10月底或11月初（2023年為10月19日）。

考試時長：

考試包括兩次三小時的紙質筆試，即 STEP 2 和 STEP 3

題型設置：

STEP 2 和 STEP 3的考題內容均包含12個問題，其中8道純數(shù)（P&FP），2道力學（Mechanics）以及2道概率統(tǒng)計（Probability and Stats.），學生任意作答不限板塊，需要完整寫出解題計算和證明的過程，最終評分選取其中得分最高的6道題進行加總（其他題目得分則不計入總成績）。

*考生通常需要參加其中一項或兩項考試，具體要求需參照所申請院校及專業(yè)的官網頁面。

考試時長：2小時30分鐘

題型設置：

試卷滿分為100分，共6道大題。分為兩部分，第一部分是選擇題，第二部分是簡答題。第1大題為選擇題部分，含10道選擇題(每題4分)，滿分40分。第2大題到第6大題為簡答題部分，每題均為15分。

第1、2、3、5大題是所有考生要作答的，考生依據其申請的大學和專業(yè)作答第4大題或第6大題。注意：多答其他題不得分。

對牛津大學申請而言：

Mathematics、Mathematics & Statistics、Mathematics & Philosophy申請者，應該回答1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Mathematics & Computer Science、Computer Science、Computer Science & Philosophy申請者，應該回答1, 2, 3, 5, 6

STEPⅡ主要基于A-Level數(shù)學與AS階段的進階數(shù)學，重點有微積分、復數(shù)、2階矩陣、數(shù)列以及經典概率、力學、動力學、概率分布等。

STEPⅢ主要基于A-Level階段的數(shù)學和進階數(shù)學，考試重點相較于STEPⅡ又多了3階矩陣、質量中心、簡諧運動、雙曲函數(shù)、圓周運動、期望代數(shù)。

MAT大綱相當簡潔，只涵蓋了A Level數(shù)學（不含A Level進階數(shù)學）純數(shù)部分的基礎知識，比完整的A Level數(shù)學大綱內容要少。牛津大學這么做主要是考慮公平起見，考綱盡可能覆蓋典型高中數(shù)學課程的內容，預期大多數(shù)學生的知識儲備都足以應對MAT考試，避免出現(xiàn)因為知識超綱導致題不會做的情況。

MAT考查的知識點分布比較均勻，常規(guī)的A Level數(shù)學課程學習的代數(shù)、平面幾何、坐標幾何、微積分、概率等知識板塊都有涉及。此外，還有數(shù)論等競賽數(shù)學熱門考點，以及A Level數(shù)學、數(shù)學競賽都不考的基礎算法相關的知識點。

STEP 成績通常作為英國幾所頂尖高等院校，包括劍橋大學、帝國理工學院、倫敦大學學院、華威大學等院校的數(shù)學、計算機等相關專業(yè)錄取條件之一。
